A Connecticut Senate committee has put forward legislation to permit lottery tickets to be sold over the internet, with the bill set to be discussed at a public hearing Tuesday (March 8th).
The Publicy Safety and Security Committee has proposed amendments to section 12-563a and sections 12-800 to 12-818 of the state’s legislation concerning the purchase of lottery tickets to allow lottery service management companies to sell tickets online.
