Caesars Entertainment has officially opened its new retail sportsbook in Summerlin, bringing in-person and mobile sports wagering to the western Las Vegas Valley.

The Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin celebrated its official grand opening this week, with a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Caesars and The Resort at Summerlin executives, along with former Vegas Golden Knights defenseman Deryk Engelland, who placed a ceremonial first bet.

Designed to deliver an immersive game day experience, the nearly 6,000-square-foot sportsbook currently features a new video wall and will add a cutting-edge 360-degree LED video display at the expanded sportsbook bar, scheduled for completion ahead of summer 2026.

Twenty Caesars Sportsbook self-service betting kiosks are located inside the sportsbook and throughout the casino, giving guests access to thousands of betting markets that mirror the options available on the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app.

For the first time at a physical sportsbook location in Summerlin, sports fans can now complete in-person registration for the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app, as well as make mobile cash deposits and withdrawals.

“Opening Caesars Race & Sportsbook at The Resort at Summerlin is a significant milestone for our brand in Las Vegas,” said Eric Hession, president of Caesars Digital and Gaming Intelligence Hot 50 of 2023 honouree. “This location allows us to better serve sports fans in the Summerlin community with a retail and mobile experience that reflects the quality, depth and innovation that define Caesars Sportsbook.”

Michelle McHugh, vice president and general manager of The Resort at Summerlin, added: “Our guests have been asking for this, and we’re proud to officially open Caesars Race & Sportsbook as part of the continued evolution of The Resort at Summerlin.

“As the first Caesars Race & Sportsbook in Summerlin, this opening underscores the strength of our market, and we’re excited to offer an experience that resonates with locals and visitors alike.”
