Novomatic has unveiled its newest land-based casino in Germany with the opening of Spielbank Rostock in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
Based in Petridamm in northern Germany, the new €8.9 million venue features a range of slots and classic table games, including four Roulette tables, two Blackjack tables, and two Poker tables.
The venue boasts a 1,300 sq. meter casino floor featuring 130 of Novomatic’s latest electronic gaming terminals.
“With the new Spielbank Rostock, we have created an experience that goes far beyond traditional gaming,” said Thomas Fritz, managing director of Spielbanken MV. “This project perfectly reflects our philosophy of combining technology, design, and entertainment at the highest level – while embracing responsibility and innovation, all with a regional touch.
“From the very first night, we wanted to offer our guests an open and welcoming atmosphere that invites interaction, conversation, and celebration.”
All 130 electronic gaming machines and jackpots, as well as cash handling via TITO, are centrally managed via the company’s Novovision casino management system. This includes automated checks against the nationwide OASIS exclusion database and all AML monitoring.
