Isle of Man-licensed online gaming operator SBOBET has finalised deals to become the official Asian betting partner of three more Barclays Premier League clubs, with the company now working with five clubs in English football’s top division.
Alongside previously announced deals with Norwich City FC and Swansea City, SBOBET has partnered with Hull City and Southampton FC, and continued its partnership with West Ham United, having previously been the East London side’s shirt sponsor for the past four years.
Bill Mummery, executive director of SBOBET parent company Celton Manx, said the partnerships “demonstrate [the company’s] commitment” to building relationships with Premier League teams, and “illustrate the growth of and respect for the trusted SBOBET brand in the Asia region where it is recognised as the leading online sports book.”
He added that his company would support the clubs’ community and charitable initiatives, such as Norwich City’s Community Sports Foundation, designed to drive engagement and participation in sports in the Norwich area.
“The 2013-2014 Premier League season promises to be a very exciting one and we are proud to partner with so many highly regarded clubs,” Mummery added.
