Swedish casino games developer Net Entertainment has paid out a €7.4m jackpot to a Swedish resident playing on Betsson.com.
The company said that it is the second largest online jackpot ever won in Sweden, and the eighth significant jackpot it has paid out this year. In total, the company has paid out €21.8m in jackpots.
The jackpot was paid to a 50-year old from the Värmland province in Sweden who was playing Hall of Gods on Betsson.com.
Net Entertainment’s chief product officer Simon Hammon, said: “The jackpots just keep falling and it’s an honour to announce that this latest one for Betsson.com is the second largest online Swedish jackpot.
“The €7.4m prize will change the life of the lucky winner and shows how much one can gain from our superb catalogue of pooled jackpots.”
Net Entertainment currently holds the Guinness World Record for the largest ever jackpot payout from an online slot game of €17.9m which was won in January 2013. The jackpot is available on other Net Entertainment games including Mega Fortune and Arabian Nights.
