French online gaming operator ChiliGaming has expanded its offering to include sports betting with the official launch of ChiliBet.com in eight languages, offering a selection of some 6,000 sports bets each week.
Operated under a Maltese licence, ChiliBet gives players access to news, statistics, live scores, predictions and a host of other sports betting information across all major sports and leagues, in addition to an average of 6,000 bet types each week covering sports from the English Premier League through to martial arts.
“To compete internationally, it was important for the ChiliGaming Group to extend its offering to meet industry standards,” said ChiliGaming CEO Alexandre Dreyfus. “We especially wanted to better meet the expectations of our customers as we prepare for the World Cup in South Africa in 2010, which coincides with the liberalisation of the French market.”
ChiliBet utilises the OddsMatrix white-label sportsbook platform which provides managed event creation, odds compilation and risk management, and an integrated player handling and bonus system delivered within a ChiliGaming customised site design and back office. The sportsbook platform is integrated with ChiliGaming’s existing offerings to allow players single-wallet access to all games.
“We have chosen the OddsMatrix sportsbook solution because of the fully managed nature of the service they offer and the comprehensive range of markets available with competitive odds for each of Chilibet.com local target regions. Our customers now have the opportunity to bet on events and markets that interest them. We are very excited about our new sportsbook, and we are eager to see the positive effect on customer loyalty, retention and acquisition as a result of our recent promotional activities,” said Dreyfus.
OddsMatrix CEO Stian Hornsletten added: “The Chili brand has been prominent in online gaming for quite some time. We are encouraged that they have decided to use OddsMatrix and are fully confident that our fully managed sportsbook will be a key element in delivering growth to their business over the coming years.”
