North Carolina Senate approves electronic sweepstakes ban

Continuing its opposition to video gambling, the North Carolina Senate this week approved a bill to ban electronic sweepstakes which could lead to the eventual closure of hundreds of sweepstake cafes and parlours across the state and the potential loss of thousands of jobs.
