CDI growth slowed by underperforming online business

US racing and gaming operator Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has posted record revenues of $148.1m for the first quarter of 2013, despite lower-than-expected gaming revenues and a decline from the company’s online wagering business.

Net revenues from continuing operations rose 7 per cent to $148.1m following a 21 per cent increase in gaming revenues to $59.3m, reflecting the contribution of Riverwalk Casino Hotel which was acquired in October of last year.
