Indiana replaces lottery chief after expenses scandal

Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels has appointed Megan Ornellas as interim executive director of the Hoosier Lottery, replacing Kathryn Densborn who resigned last week after an investigation revealed that tens of thousands of taxpayer dollars had been spent on the lottery’s new headquarters which included luxury furnishings and a $25,000 state-of-the-art gym.
