The company said that Schaar’s experience of working within payment technology and his skills in implementing large projects will help the Skrill Group to grow and innovate, evolving and improving time to market and operations at an international level.
“The payment industry is highly competitive and evolving rapidly, so we need to constantly improve and innovate in order to meet our customers’ needs and ensure our systems are the first choice for our customers,” said Schaar.
“I will be working to strengthen delivery capabilities within the Skrill Group, helping to design and deliver new innovative payment solutions that combine the business’ strong experiences of online payments, offline payments and international distribution network.”
