Michigan’s licensed iGaming operators will be able to offer Slingo Originals content to players after the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) approved Slingo developer Gaming Realms for licensure.
London-listed Gaming Realms has been awarded a provisional iGaming supplier license by the MGCB, allowing the developer to supply Slingo Originals content to Michigan’s soon-to-launch iGaming market.
The provisional license approval furthers the company’s growth strategy in the United States and adds to its existing license in New Jersey, and is expected to be followed by licensure in Pennsylvania.
“We are delighted to have obtained our provisional iGaming license in Michigan, which presents a larger player market than New Jersey, where the Group operates at present,” said Michael Buckley, executive chairman of Gaming Realms.
“We already have a number of deals signed with operators licensed in Michigan and we are confident that it will be a strong market for us, given the awareness of Slingo as a successful gaming brand. We look forward to being amongst those helping to launch its new iGaming market.”
Shares in Gaming Realms plc. (LSE:GMR) gained 10.81 per cent on the news in London early Wednesday morning to 24.60 pence per share.
