iGaming solutions provider SkillOnNet has entered into a joint venture agreement with Greek land-based casino operator Regency Entertainment.

The partnership aims to combine SkillOnNet’s iGaming solutions with Regency Entertainment’s casino management expertise to create a “best-in-class” online gaming platform for players in the Greek market.

“SkillOnNet and Regency Entertainment share the same vision and values when it comes to innovation in the entertainment space. This is a fantastic opportunity for us to leverage Regency’s incredible reputation and impeccable track record in the industry to build something special that will offer players a safe and enjoyable gaming experience,” said Maor Nutkevitch, senior vice president of corporate development at SkillOnNet.

“The management team at Regency is second to none, and it has been a pleasure to work with them. We’re looking forward to enjoying a close and fruitful relationship for many years to come.”

Regency Entertainment chief executive officer Yiannis Tsirikos said: “We aim to provide a top-tier digital entertainment experience that reflects the excellence of our physical venues. Partnering with SkillOnNet, we’re enhancing our offerings, including refined online gaming experiences.

“Their proven ability to create unique and dynamic online platforms supports our vision of offering a sophisticated yet subtly integrated online gaming dimension within our diverse digital portfolio.”

Regency Entertainment operates the Regency Casino Mont Parnes in Athens and the Regency Casino in Thessaloniki.

The JV with Regency represents the third major partnership between SkillOnNet and a land-based operator in the last two years, following deals with Genting in the United Kingdom and Buenos Aires Slots in Argentina.
