Gaming certification laboratory expands global reach with New Zealand iGaming approval
BMM Testlabs has received approval to provide online gaming testing and certification services in New Zealand under the country’s new online casino regulatory framework.
The new approval enables BMM to expand its services to support the country’s new regulated online casino market, adding to its existing testing and certification services for New Zealand’s regulated land-based gaming industry.
“BMM has a long history of supporting New Zealand’s land-based gaming industry, and we’re excited to build upon those relationships as the country moves toward regulated online casino gaming,” said Kirk White, BMM Testlabs’ president of land-based gaming and inspections. “Our customers rely on us for quality, speed, and service. We’re proud to bring that same commitment to this next chapter of New Zealand’s gaming industry.”
BMM’s capabilities are further strengthened by its recent acquisition of eCOGRA, bringing together two organizations with complementary expertise in gaming testing and certification.
Last week, New Zealand’s Department of Internal Affairs selected 11 entities to proceed to the next round of the online gaming licensing process, with licences expected to be issued from early 2027.
