Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has appointed Sam Ullrich as vice president of investment relations.
Ullrich will be responsible for all aspects of investor relations at the NASDAQ-listed company and will work closely with current and prospective shareholders and analysts.
He will report to CDI’s executive vice president and chief financial officer, Marcia Dall.
Ullrich joins CDI after nearly a decade at KFC, having served the last five years as director of financial planning and restaurant economics. He also served as interim CFO of KFC between October 2022 and June 2023.
His appointment follows the release of CDI’s financial results for first quarter of 2024, when net revenue climbed by 6 per cent to a record $590.9 million.
Shares in Churchill Downs Incorporated (NASDAQ:CHDN) closed 1.54 per cent lower at $128.09 per share in New York Thursday.
