Rob Eskridge will lead US government relations and help build the company’s engagement with policymakers
Leading prediction market platform Polymarket has appointed Rob Eskridge as head of US government relations.
Eskridge brings over two decades of experience at the intersection of government, law, financial markets, and public policy.
He most recently led federal government affairs for the Intercontinental Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), where he worked with policymakers and regulators on issues affecting US capital markets, financial services and emerging technologies.
Prior to that, he served as chief of staff to Congressman Al Green, a senior Member of the House Financial Services Committee, and as counsel to the US House Committee on Ethics.
Earlier in his career, he served as an Assistant Attorney General in Ohio.
“Prediction markets sit at a unique intersection of technology, financial markets, and public policy,” said Polymarket. “As the policy framework around this emerging industry continues to develop, Polymarket intends to be an active and constructive participant in that conversation.”
