Kindred Group has signed a five-year front-of-shirt sponsorship extension with Scottish Premier League giants Rangers FC.
The extension will see the partnership become the longest-running of its type in British football, spanning 15 years by the end of the latest agreement.
Under the terms of the deal, Kindred’s Unibet brand will feature on the front of all men’s home, away and third shirts, as well as the women’s kits, during the 2024/25 season.
The Unibet brand will give the position to Kindred’s Zero% Mission responsible gambling campaign at various times during the season.
32Red, another of Kindred’s brands, will also continue as the main training wear sponsor of the Glasgow club, having previously served as the front-of-shirt sponsor on first team kits.
Kindred Group will also continue to fund the Rangers Charity Foundation’s men’s mental health initiative, Team Talk.
“Kindred’s partnership with Rangers is British football’s longest running and one of the most impactful,” said Kindred’s UK general manager, Sam Mead.
“Rangers are a club with a rich history, who have a passionate and loyal fanbase – so we are delighted to be partnering with the team once again. We join the supporters in wishing the team the very best in the ongoing season – together, we hope we can make it another successful one.
Karim Virani, chief commercial officer at Rangers, commented: “Everyone at the club is absolutely delighted to extend our longstanding partnership with the Kindred Group. This partnership is the longest-running of its kind in British football – and has helped the club enormously over the duration of the deal.
“Most importantly, we’d like to thank them for continuing their vital support of the club’s foundation, especially through the Team Talk mental health initiative.
“The health and wellbeing of our local community is very important to ourselves and Kindred. We are all looking forward to the opportunity to continue driving forward new initiatives that will benefit both our supporters and the people of Glasgow.”
