Melco Resorts & Entertainment has named John Peter Ben Wang as an independent non-executive director, effective immediately.
Alongside his appointment to the board, Wang has also been named chair of the company’s audit and risk committee, and a member of the compensation, nominating, and corporate governance committees.
This is Wang’s second stint on the casino operator’s board of directors, having previously served as a director between November 2006 and August 2016.

Shares in Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd (NASDAQ:MLCO) closed 4.60 per cent lower at $6.02 per share in New York Friday.
