Sun International has appointed Leslie Peters as chief technology and product officer to accelerate the company’s digital growth.
Peters brings more than two decades of experience in software development, gaming technology, and digital transformation to the South African casino operator.
His most recent role in the gaming industry was at Games Global, where he served as chief technology officer for the last three years. He also had served at Derivco, Three-B International and TickTockGames.
“We are focused on customer-centric and product-driven growth, powered by fit-for-purpose technology,” said Sun International CEO Ulrik Bengtsson. “Leslie’s appointment is a key step in delivering on this strategy and ensuring our technology and product platforms are aligned with our ambition to become a market-leading, digitally led, omnichannel gaming company of scale.”

Shares in Sun International Ltd. (JSE:SUI) were trading 0.67 per cent lower at R3,874.00 per share in Johannesburg Tuesday morning.
