Appointment of former Betsson CTO will help accelerate Allwyn’s digital ambitions
Lottery and gaming operator Allwyn has appointed former Betsson executive Fredrik Ögren as group chief technology officer.
Reporting to Allwyn Digital CEO Kresimir Spajic, Ögren will be responsible for shaping and delivering Allwyn’s technology strategy to support growth across the group and enhance the customer experience of its brands.
He joins Allwyn from Betsson, where he spent the last five years as chief technology officer.
Ögren succeeds Brett Cross, who had been serving as interim CTO and now moves into the newly created role of CTO of global lottery and deputy group CTO, reporting to Ögren.

Shares in Allwyn AG (ATH:ALWN) were trading 0.99 per cent higher at €11.70 per share in Athens Wednesday morning.
