The UAE Lottery is marking its first anniversary with an upgrade to its flagship Lucky Day Draw, which is now taking place weekly.
Previously taking place bi-monthly, the new weekly format launched on Saturday (29 November), giving players more opportunities to participate and win.
Adding to the new weekly draws, the second prize has also been increased from AED 1 million to AED 5 million, while the Grand Prize remains at AED 30 million.
“As we celebrate a successful first year of operations, our mission remains the same: to bring joy and life-changing opportunities to players across the UAE,” said Scott Burton, commercial gaming director at The UAE Lottery. “This change comes as a result of listening to our players and a careful review of their interest levels.
“So, when they asked for more opportunities to play, we made it happen. With weekly draws now in place, every Saturday will be someone’s Lucky Day, and that’s what makes this milestone so special.”
Since its launch, UAE Lottery has celebrated more than 100,000 winners and paid out over AED 147 million in prizes.
The UAE Lottery is operated by Momentum Group’s The Game, which shares an address with Coin Technology Projects, the first operator to be licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) for sports betting and internet gaming via Play971.ae.
Play971.ae is currently only available to players in the emAbu Dhabi and Ras Al Kahimah.
