Flutter Entertainment has expanded its Board of Directors with the appointment of David Kenny as a non-executive director.
Kenny is currently chairman of New York-listed Best Buy Co Inc, the world’s largest speciality consumer electronics retailer. He is also an independent director of American media audience measurement firm Nielsen Holdings, where he previously held the position of CEO and executive chairman.
Prior to this, he served as chairman and CEO of The Weather Company, as well as senior vice president of IBM’s Watson & Cloud platform.
Kenny will join the Flutter Board following the conclusion of the company’s Annual General Meeting on 29 May.
“We are delighted to announce David’s appointment and welcome him to the board,” said Flutter chair John Bryant. “We expect that his leadership experience at complex technology, media, and marketing businesses will be of great benefit to the Board, and the group.”
Shares in Flutter Entertainment Inc (NYSE:FLUT) closed 1.89 per cent lower at $199.85 per share in New York Wednesday.
