New finance and marketing chiefs strengthen executive team as company continues to grow the Affinity and Apex Hospitality platform
Affinity Interactive has strengthened its executive leadership team with the appointments of Pat Murphy as chief financial officer (CFO) and Chad Brown as chief marketing officer (CMO).
As CFO, Murphy will lead financial strategy and operations at Affinity and across the broader Apex Hospitality integrated hospitality and consumer brand platform, which includes Affinity, Xperience Restaurant Group (XRG), Pink Taco, and Mrs. Fields.
He brings more than 25 years of experience in financial leadership across the gaming, hospitality, and broader corporate sectors, most recently serving as vice president and CFO of Hollywood Casino at Kansas Speedway, a Penn Entertainment property.
Earlier in his career, Murphy held senior leadership roles at MGM Resorts International, including VP of finance and Treasurer.

Affinity Interactive’s second executive appointment sees Chad Brown join as CMO to lead marketing strategy and brand development at Affinity and across Apex Hospitality.
Brown brings more than 20 years of experience from the hospitality, gaming, finance and entertainment sectors.
Prior to joining Affinity, he served as president and CMO of CBA Professional Marketing Services, and prior to that held CMO roles at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and Prairie Fire Nevada.
Earlier in his career, Brown spent more than a decade at MGM Resorts International, including as corporate vice president of marketing operations.

Brown’s appointment builds on ZCG’s previously announced formation of Apex Hospitality, which was established to drive scale, operational alignment, and growth across its hospitality and dining portfolio.
