Caesars Entertainment completes transformation of former Harveys Lake Tahoe venue with newly reimagined hotel and casino on the South Shore in the Sierra Nevada
Caesars Entertainment has officially opened doors to its new Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe Hotel & Casino in Nevada.
Ushering in a bold new era for the South Shore of Lake Tahoe region, the grand opening marks the conclusion of a multi-phased transformation of the former Harveys Lake Tahoe venue.
The new venue features a fully reimagined lobby and a modernized casino floor, with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting taking place with restaurateur, businesswoman and television personality Lisa Vanderpump.
“With Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe, we set out to create something truly distinctive for this market,” said Caesars Entertainment president and chief operating officer Anthony Carano. “An experience that blends the natural beauty of the Sierra Nevada with the energy and innovation our guests expect.
“The grand opening represents the realization of that vision and the beginning of an exciting new era for Lake Tahoe.”
The fully refreshed casino floor features new slot machines, table games, a modern high-limit and poker experience and renovated Caesars Sportsbook.
“Our vision was to take everything guests have loved about this destination for decades and revitalize it through a more modern, design-forward lens,” said Karie Hall, senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe. “The result is a resort that feels vibrant, elevated and unmistakably Tahoe, whether you’re here for the views, the dining or the moments you can’t get anywhere else.”
Caesars Republic Lake Tahoe is connected to Harrah’s Lake Tahoe via an easy-access connector, together offering nearly 1,250 guest rooms.
Shares in Caesars Entertainment Inc (NASDAQ:CZR) closed at $30.35 per share in New York Tuesday.
