The handball league will now be known as Betoro Herreligaen for the next three seasons
Danish betting and gaming operator Betoro has partnered Tophåndbold to become the title sponsor of the men’s Danish handball league, Herreligaen.
The league will be known as Betoro Herreligaen for the next three seasons, with Betoro.dk supporting activities at arenas and across digital channels.
“The new agreement for the men’s handball league is a strong recognition of the elite handball clubs and their focus and commitment to both development and collaboration,” said Tophåndbold CEO Thomas Christensen. “It confirms that their hard work and dedication ultimately pay off.
“At the same time, it is of great value to both us and the clubs that the new agreement has been entered into for a three-year period, providing stability and strong opportunities to continue the positive development of our sport.”
Betoro brand manager Mikkel Skovby added: “Handball holds an important place in Danish sporting culture, with a strong and highly engaged community around the sport.
