bwin.party’s planned entry into the social gaming arena took shape today with the announcement of a €40m (US$50m) investment to establish a dedicated social gaming unit based in Gibraltar under the name Win.

The company said its strategy would focus on leveraging the group’s existing assets and skills, coupled with the know how that it has acquired as part of the investment, in order to secure a meaningful market position over the coming two years.
