Social engagement solutions developer Sprylogics has signed an agreement with Tabcorp to allow betting information and markets from the Australian operator’s TAB.com.au site integrated into the new BreakingSports app.
BreakingSports allows users to select a preferred team, with the app then aggregating content from social media feeds to provide them with a constant flow of up-to-date news.
Sprylogics explained that the partnership with Tabcorp was an especially important milestone for the business, as it was its first collaboration with a company operating in a market that allows sports betting.
“We believe that our technology provides value by delivering customized, fully-automated breaking news to sports enthusiasts, fantasy sports players and the sports wagering market,” Sprylogics said. “We are thrilled to be in a position to be able to offer this technology to sports bettors in Australia.”
The Australian variant of the product will now be enhanced with betting odds and markets, covering Australian football and rugby league, the English Premier League, A-League Soccer and international cricket. Using up-to-date information, bettors will be able to better tailor their wagers.
The product gathers information using Sprylogic’s semantic machine learning and natural language processing technology, filtering through a huge number of posts to find relevant information.
