Italy’s Lottomatica Group has reported an 11 per cent increase in revenues to a record €780.4m ($1.01bn) for the first quarter of 2012, following growth across all of the company’s business segments.
Despite the difficult economic environment, total revenues from Italian operations increased by 5 per cent to €481.8m, with strong growth from the company’s machine gaming and interactive divisions offsetting lower revenues from lottery and sports betting.
