bet-at-home net profit hit by increased marketing costs

BetClic Everest Group subsidiary bet-at-home.com has reported a 63 per cent drop in net profit to €1.7m for 2012, despite posting a 14 per cent increase in net gaming revenues during the period.

Betting and gaming turnover rose by 15 per cent to €2,039.8m, with the company generating gross gaming revenues of €85.5m, up 17 per cent year-on-year. Net gaming revenues climbed by 14 per cent to €75.5m.
