Italy’s Lottomatica Group has reported a 2 per cent increase in first quarter revenues to €797.5m, following strong growth from its SPIELO International segment, which offset declines across the company’s Italian Operations and GTECH Lottery businesses.
Total revenues from Lottomatica’s core Italian Operations fell by 4 per cent to €463.5m following a 13 per cent decline in machine gaming revenues to €147.3m, due to a VLT tax increase as well as productivity impacts.
