Worldwide lottery sales increased by just 0.5 per cent for the first quarter of 2013, following declines by participating lotteries in Europe and Africa, as well as a slowdown in growth in North America and the Asia Pacific region, according to the latest figures released by the World Lottery Association (WLA).
