Higher customer numbers boosts Sky Bet revenues

Sky Betting and Gaming, the online gaming subsidiary of UK broadcaster BSkyB, has seen full-year revenues rise by 37 per cent as a result of strong growth in mobile gaming and a rise in player numbers.

Limited figures released by BSkyB last week showed revenues for the year ended June 30th increasing from £113m to £155m, with more than 50 per cent of revenues now being derived from mobile gaming.
