Spanish gaming operator CIRSA has recorded a 16.6 per cent increase in net operating revenue for the second quarter, despite the negative impact of foreign exchange rates.
The company saw second quarter net operating revenue climb to €330.2m, although earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) fell by more than 50 per cent year-on-year due to higher personnel and external costs, gaming taxes, and write-downs in respect to bingo halls and slots operators acquired prior to 2005.
