North Carolina posted sports wagers of $646.9 million in January, marking the fourth consecutive month with bets of more than $600 million.
Promotional wagers in January were at their highest level since May 2024 at $23.6 million, leaving $623.3 million in paid wagers for the month.
North Carolina’s gross win was $78.4 million, falling to $74.5 million in taxable gross revenue after permitted deductions.
Sports betting tax collected on January’s revenue was $13.4 million.
