New York’s sportsbooks took wagers of $154.9 million on Super Bowl LIX, with FanDuel being the big winner.
Mobile sportsbooks in New York reported Super Bowl handle of $153.3 million, and retail sportsbooks in the state’s casinos had bets of $1.6 million.
FanDuel’s Super Bowl wagering was $62.8 million and accounted for 41 per cent of mobile wagers, with DraftKings taking a 36 per cent share with handle of $55.4 million.
BetMGM was a distant third and took $13.0 million in bets on Super Bowl LIX.
New York’s mobile licensees earned a strong margin of 30.9 per cent on the result of the Super Bowl, with FanDuel having the best margin of 37.8 per cent.
Total win on the Super Bowl in New York was $47.4 million and FanDuel held 50 per cent of win at $23.8 million. DraftKings held a 29 per cent share of win on $13.8 million.
New York’s casinos posted retail betting win of just $14,656 on the Super Bowl at a margin of 0.9 per cent.
Betting tax paid on New York’s Super Bowl revenue was $24.2 million.
