France’s regulated online gaming market recorded a 19 per cent year-on-year increase in gross gaming revenue for the third quarter, as the Football and Basketball World Cups and Volleyball Championships helped sports betting to offset declines in most other verticals.
Growth in sports betting helped boost the market’s total GGR for the quarter by 19 per cent to €177m from €149m a year ago, despite a marginal decrease in total amounts wagered to €1.88bn.
