Online and retail bingo operator Buzz Bingo has committed to investing a further £25 million into its 82 bingo clubs across the United Kingdom following new funding from Barclay’s.
The investment programme will see the operator introduce 10,000 electronic bingo terminals, as well as self-service bingo kiosks and new digital registration terminals in every club.
Additionally, Buzz will introduce over 1,300 new slot machines and implement fully integrated digital membership cards.
The investment programme forms a key part of the operator’s strategic five-year plan, which it introduced in 2023.
The first refreshed site at Sheffield Parkway reopened last month, including a reimagined main hall, an all-new players lounge and an updated bar arena, with seven more clubs planned to receive investment in 2025, including Leeds and Stockport.
“Our new investment programme will see clubs across our estate being transformed,” said Buzz Bingo CEO Dominic Mansour. “This is all about modernising bingo for the next generation of players and taking our clubs to the next level to offer a truly unmatched experience for our players, and we believe our Sheffield Parkway site is now one of the best bingo clubs in the country.
“By combining cutting-edge technology, more modern interiors and even better food and drink, we’re not just refurbishing our clubs, we’re going to be reimagining what bingo can be in the future.”
