UK-listed financial spread betting firm IG Group has reported an 8 per cent increase in net trading revenue to £197.4m for the first half ended November 30th, following strong growth in its core UK and Ireland markets.
IG delivered record revenue during the six month period, despite a subdued first quarter, although this was followed by a significantly more active second quarter as reasonably volatile financial markets presented clients with considerably more trading opportunities.
