Dutch state-owned gaming operator Holland Casino returned to profit in 2014 as turnover rose 3 per cent from 2013 to bring an end to seven years of decline.
The company said that it was “on the mend” after a year in which the operator underwent a complete reorganisation, including a shift away from its centralised management structure. This led to a significant cost-cutting drive, with its workforce significantly reduced.
