Swedish monopoly operator Svenska Spel has blamed increased competition from foreign operators and the impact of responsible gaming measures for a 4.7 per cent drop in net gaming revenue in the first quarter of the year.
Total net gaming revenue fell to SEK2.2bn, with quarterly profit down 4.4 per cent year-on-year to SEK1.2bn.
