Growth in poker tournament entry fees and the continuing strong performance of sports betting has helped France’s online gaming market post a 4 per cent improvement in gross gaming revenue in its full year results for 2015.
Results published by French gambling regulator L’Autorité de régulation des jeux en ligne (ARJEL) reveal that total market gross gaming revenue (GGR) has risen from €725m to €756m, with sports betting growth offsetting declines in horse racing betting and poker.
