Sweden’s regulated gambling market saw turnover increase by 6 per cent to SEK4.17bn (approx. €447m) in the first quarter of 2016, with all licensed operators recording growth.
Swedish gaming regulator Lotteriinspektionen said the first quarter was “the first time in a long time” that all operators showed a year-on-year improvement in turnover, with most seeing strong growth through the online channel.
