The regulated Danish gambling market saw total gross gaming revenue increase by 6 per cent to DKK8.90bn (€1.2bn) in 2016, following growth across all products except gaming machines.
Sports betting gross gaming revenue (GGR) was up 9 per cent to DKK2,175m, with the product vertical returning to growth during the final quarter of the year, having suffered its first year-on-year decline since the liberalisation of the market in Q3.
