Spain’s regulated iGaming market enjoyed a strong end to 2017, with gross gaming revenue (GGR) across all major products climbing 38 per cent to €173.3m during the final quarter of the year.
The biggest year-on-year growth came from the sports betting vertical, which grew GGR by 49 per cent to €103.6m, equivalent to 60 per cent of the total market. This included GGR of €1.4m from horse race betting, which was up 219 per cent year-on-year.
