Finland’s state-owned gaming operator Veikkaus has reported a 4 per cent drop in turnover to €774.0m for the first quarter of 2019, following declines across all three of its business segments.
Lottery turnover fell by 1 per cent year-on-year to €331.8m, despite a 26 per cent increase in Lotto turnover to €108.2m, which benefited from the six week jackpot rollover and a record payout of €15.5m in February.
