Online payment provider Skrill has completed the acquisition of Austrian prepaid payments business paysafecard.com Wertkarten AG.
Skrill, which has acquired the company for a total consideration of up to €140m, said that the deal represented a “hugely significant step forward” for the company as it expands its position as one of the world’s largest digital wallet providers.
