UK betting and gaming operator Ladbrokes has completed the acquisition of Australian online bookmaker Eskander’s Betstar in a deal worth AU$22m (€15m).
News of the acquisition of the Darwin-based business emerged yesterday, and has now been formally announced by the operator.
It bolsters the operator’s presence in a market which it entered in September last year through the acquisition of Bookmaker.com.au and the subsequent launch of its Ladbrokes.com.au domain.
