Danish right-wing parties call for Danske Licens Spil privatisation

Denmark’s right-wing political parties, led by the Conservative People’s Party (DKF), have called on the government to privatise a number of state-owned businesses, including the iGaming arm of state-owned operator Danske Spil.

The DKF has proposed the sale of assets “that are not essential for critical infrastructure”, such as Danske Licens Spil and television network TV2, with the proposal attracting support from the conservative-liberal Venstre minority government, far-right Danish People’s Party (DPP), and libertarian Liberal Alliance.
