PlayUp has continued its recent expansion in Australia with the acquisition of online betting operator ClassicBet, and is also rumoured to be acquiring TopBetta’s retail bookmaking business.
Having snapped up CrownBet’s Draftstars fantasy sports business last week, PlayUp has now acquired Sydney-based ClassicBet for an undisclosed amount, subject to licensing approval from the Northern Territory Racing Commission and Harness Racing New South Wales.
