European lottery and gaming operator SAZKA Group has reached an agreement to acquire Novomatic’s stake in Casinos Austria AG.
Novomatic has agreed to sell its 17.19 per cent stake in the Austrian casino and lottery operator for an undisclosed amount, adding to SAZKA’s existing 38.16 per cent stake in the business.
The deal remains subject to various conditions precedent including applicable regulatory approvals and rights of other Casinos Austria AG (CASAG) shareholders.
