Finland's state-owned gaming operator Veikkaus has reported a 13 per cent drop in gross gaming revenue to €1.10bn in 2021, with results impacted by Covid-19 related restrictions and the introduction of compulsory player identity authentication on land-based slot machines.
Revenue from slot machines fell by 52 per cent year-on-year to €143.0m following the introduction of compulsory player authentication and loss limits during the year.
